18 years in bird's nest.
Now in Singapore.
For as long as I can remember, bird's nest was part of our family's life. Not as a luxury, but as something we genuinely believed in. Every morning before school, I had a bowl. It wasn't a special occasion thing. It was just breakfast.
My parents built their distribution business in China from the ground up, distributing up to a tonne of bird's nest per month, making us among the most significant volume distributors in the market. I grew up watching them do it. Factory visits, supplier meetings, industry events. I was there for all of it. Over 18 years, I saw firsthand what separates genuine quality from marketing.
We source from PT Adipurna Mranata Jaya (AMJ), registered 001 in China, founded in 1988, the world's largest bird's nest producer, holding TUV and HACCP certifications. The same factory trusted by Pristine Farm Singapore and leading retailers across Asia. These are long-standing partnerships built over years of volume, trust, and rigorous quality standards.
What frustrated me was simple: the same nests, from the same certified factories, were being sold in Singapore at 3 to 4 times the price. Not because they were better. Just because of the layers in between. Li Mei Yuan is my answer to that. Factory-direct quality, honest prices, no middlemen. Backed by a supply chain I've spent my whole life learning.
